Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction can occur during breast cancer treatment or years following treatment. A new breast can be “constructed” with or without implants to achieve natural-looking results. The technique and extent of the reconstruction will be determined during a consultation with Dr. Kim.
During your consultation with Dr. Kim, you will undergo a breast examination to determine the best surgical technique for you. Dr. Kim will discuss with you your current health condition and take into consideration if you are undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Whether to have surgery now or later is dependent on your current treatment and if you are expected to need additional procedures. Your candidacy will be discussed during a consultation with Dr. Kim.
